FUNDRAISER HIGHLIGHT
ST.John’s –Kilmarnock School....Trek Nepal 2011
Among many other initiatives, this group will be using Earth’s Berries as part of their fundraising program for their Trek Nepal 2011.
All the funds raised will go directly to supporting a school building project in Nepal: none will be used for personal expenses, by the time the flight leaves Ontario in March the students will have learned background information about the culture, religions, and the people of the area. They will trek in this area and enjoy the beauty and cultural diversity, but the primary goal is to help build a classroom and school playground in the village of Thakani. Their relationship with the Dauleshowary School in Thakani began in 2001, when they funded a library and helped to finish a classroom.
“Thakani, a village of a few thousand people, in the Sindupalchowk region of Nepal is among the regions of the world most troubled by the tragic problem of girl trafficking. The problem is greatest in this area due to the extreme level of poverty couples with the great demand for Tamang girls, as the women of this area are renowned for their striking beauty”
Judy and Rob have been travelling with groups to the Helambu region since 1999. I was so excited when Judy contacted me to have Earth’s Berries be a part of the fundraising for such an awesome humanitarian trip. Not only for the people in Thakani, but also for the chance for some Canadian youth to learn and gain insights to parts of the world that are so often left unknown.

TESTIMONIALS
"Hi Karen,
My name is Monica and I purchased your soap nuts a few weeks back. I just have to tell you how AMAZING they are!! They have totally changed our lives, as we use them for everything. I bought some for my mom just before Christmas (she was skeptical since the idea of a natural product just didn't seem like it would work to her) and she is blown away by how well they work too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I had a friend who told me about using soap nuts for cloth diapers. When I Googled soap nuts in Ontario, you popped up. I'm glad to be supporting a Canadian company and want to tell everyone I know (I actually think I already have!).
Thanks so much again for providing an incredible product! Have a great night."

"Hi.
I bought some of your "berries" at the cottage show. I was skeptical, but they worked about as well as my laundry detergent on dirt and even better on smells. When they worked well for my cloth diapers, I gave them the ultimate test: CAT PEE! They got that smell out. I am impressed. I will be back for more...
Thanks, "
Kristen.
